"Well... What is Nursing Games?"

 

Nursing Games is a national battle of epic proportions between nursing students. Teams of 30 face off in series of academic activities, skill testing scenarios, and 3 different (and awesomely unique) sports (inner tube waterpolo, Omnikin, and bubble soccer). The school that is voted as the loudest cheerers and most sportsmanlike walks away with the spirit award. 

 

"But Sudbury is so... North! Why should I go?"

 

We're doing things a bit different this year, from new and exciting "sports" to a twist on the skills testing challenge.  Laurentian University Nursing Games Society (LUNGS) is excited to host this year's games! So, we are committed to pulling off an event that nursing students won't want to miss out on and won't be soon forgotten. Laurentian University boasts a scenic location  surrounded by lakes, a golf course, and plenty of forest. LUNGS is also excited  to provide nursing students with exposure to a northern Ontario community they might not otherwise get the chance to experience. Sudbury has a rich arts and culture scene and is recognized for healthcare research and innovation. 

 

"So, why should I sign up?"

 

Well if we haven't already convinced you... Nursing Games 2016  will offer fun activities for nursing students  to network amongst each other as well as with other healthcare professionals. We are seriously planning a jam-packed, memory-making, unique, and fun event, from the sports to the social events and everything in between. Please note: registration is on a first come, first serve basis and spots are limited. Upon registration, team captains  will receive e-mail confirmation as well as  additional information including how to submit payment.
